Default Ok I am posting this as a WOW

It is amazing this happened but it did. I was playing a monk in RA. I was a Prot. We had a sin a paragon and an elementalist. The battle started and about 1 minute in as I was targeted by a derv I get the (you have lost connection) I tried to reconnect 3 times and then closed the game and then restarted the game. It let me log back in and it asked if I would like to reconnect. (3-4 minutes have passed) I logged on and was back in the battle with NO DP. The same derv was still hitting me, and I saw the opposing team was saying I must have like 1000 hp or something. The Paragon was keeping me alive the whole time. I do not know the build but I sure would. Any ideas? And hats off to you paragon

there's a lot of chants that reduce damage and gives you health.
paragon as support are very good. Also as damage dealres.

Most of the healing/protection skills fall into Motivation and Command.
Skills like :

"its just a flesh wound!"
Stand your ground
Song of Restoration
Ballad of Restoration.

Just to mention a few.

Since it was RA, there is a very good chance that the Dervish had zero scythe mastery with maxed Wind Prayers and Healing Prayers.

While I do agree that Paragons are great for defense....single target protection/healing is not their strong point. The only thing that I can think of that would provide decent protection for your Monk would be...
[skill]Angelic Bond[/skill]

Or maybe the Elementalist was trying to be a Monk....have seen that quite a bit.

it could be a lot of things, RA is so unpredictable that neither of us can have a clue what your team nor the opposition was running.
if this was PvE I'd say TNTF+SY=gg but than its not...

The Assassin probably stuck [skill=text]Siphon Strength[/skill] on the Dervish. GG for any attacking character, -47 damage per hit.
